Who is C.M Edwards?

Charles Michael Edwards is a highly talented writer hailing from Detroit, Michigan, with 10+ years of experience writing as a professional in the industry. Charles specializes in fiction, specifically fantasy of the medieval and modern genres; Charles has written in several mediums such as comic books, film, television, and videogames.

 

Along with his incredible Talent, Charles has been thoroughly educated in creative writing and story structure and studied photography and graphic design. Charles has accomplished a significant amount in his career, having self-published eight comic books, several short stories, and worked on two small-budget media productions. In addition, he is a growing supporter of the indie comic-book scene, always trying to help new creators like himself to succeed. 

 

 

What inspired him?

 

 At a young age, Charles’ imagination was molded by the stories he grew up watching on television, heavily influenced by the style of storytelling of foreign films and anime from Japan.  Greats such as Hayao Miyazaki and Kouta Hirano are idols of Charles; however, he also sites the episodic adventures of Saturday morning cartoons from the likes of Dwayne McDuffie and Greg Weisman as direct inspirations to his craft.
