What inspired him?

  • At a young age, Charles’ imagination was moulded by the stories he grew up watching on television, heavily influenced by the Japanese style storytelling of anime from greats such as Hayao Miyazaki, and the episodic adventures of Saturday morning cartoons from the likes of Greg Weisman  Bewitched by the characters he grew up loving to read about and watch, becoming enthralled by the voices of dozens of different characters every week it did not take long for Charles to discover his own voice. This voice would be made louder by consequence after his father committed suicide when he was 15. Charles would choose the path of the writer for himself deciding that his stories needed to be told and when others would have it silenced it was his mother, his personal pillar of support that pushed him to let it speak loudly freely. Now Charles travels the path of fiction one page at a time.
